A lot of overeating is about avoidance, escape, or just plain habit.
Do you automatically open the fridge when you have a bad day? Or mindlessly munch potato chips while you watch TV?

In my opinion, this is what separates the dieters who succeed from the dieters who fail.

I believe that about 90% of weight loss success comes from dealing with psychological and emotional issues. The rest is choosing a weight loss program that fits your personality and lifestyle.
Let’s start with the biggest issue first:

No diet is perfect. No dieter is perfect.
In fact, most people who start a diet on Monday are cheating by Tuesday. (I’m talking about diets that don’t allow or encourage cheating.)
But there are dieters who succeed in losing weight and keeping it off.
